Richard Fishing

I got up early the first morning at Indianpoint Campground and Richard Allegretto was getting ready to push off for some fly fishing in the bays at this end of Azure Lake. The above shot is of him as the sun is just starting to hit the tree tops to the west. His and wife, Michelle's, canoe is a green 16 foot Greenwood wood and canvas Prospector model bought back sometime in the 1970s. They had it re-canvassed a year or so ago. The original manufacturer is now retired so they had to find another craftsman to do the job. Luckily, they found someone there in Vancouver, BC, near where they live. The boat is in really good shape for it's age and amount of use.

Richard is flyfishing, and didn't get anything this trip. Fish are fickle creatures.
