Farther Above Rainbow Falls

Above Rainbow Falls on Angus Horne Creek 2.

This picture is upstream of the previous one. Angus Horne Creek (I think named for an early trapper who spent a lot of time in this area) just keeps falling and falling. Upstream of here the creek flattens out on a plateau. Angus Horne Lake, at 991 meters (3251 feet, about 1000 feet above Azure Lake), is about a 7 mile hike from our campground. The lake is fed by snowfields and glaciers on unnamed peaks (on my map) farther to the east.
