Yukon Territory - North/Black/Liard River Canoe Trip, Watson Lake Area Services

This page has addresses and phones as well as a few Web links. If there are several of the same kind of businesses to choose from -- like restaurants and gasoline stations -- I'll not be listing them, but if there is just one or two and they may be hard to find, I'll give you some info on them below. Again, we did not use any businesses in Watson Lake so cannot recommend one over another.

Several gas stations and auto mechanics, restaurants, motels
 Campgrounds
        Campground Services, Ltd. North side of AK Hwy just east of 
          downtown -- 867-536-7448.
        Watson Lake Territorial Campground about 4 km west of Downtown, 
          turn north off of the AK Hwy.  
 Camping supplies
        Jarand Building Products & Hardware, 867-536-7417, On 
          Centennial Avenue which is one street south of AK Hwy, west 
          of 10th Street South.  
 Grocery Stores
        Watson Lake Foods, Ltd.  Open 7 days a week, North side of AK 
          Highway at 8th Street North, 867-536-2230
        Several convenience stores in and around town.  
 Laundromats
        Jct 37 Services
        Sign Post Tempo & Tags, at the corner of AK Hwy and Campbell 
          Hwy, 867-536-7422
        Some hotels, RV parks and camprounds have them available for 
          their guests (and maybe others -- you can always ask).  
 Showers
        Not known for sure, try Campground Services - 867-536-7448.  
          (We've bought showers at motels before, though not in 
          Watson Lake.)
