Cirque Hike Image 3

This is looking southwest from the glacial cirque located on the mountain across the lake from our North Lake campsite. There's a pond about a half mile (800 meters) downstream of North Lake on the North River, and that's the water you see. The North River continues out of the picture to the left, out of sight behind the mountain blocking the way. Hank walked around far enough (without a camera) to catch glimpses of the Sieve, but everything was too far away for any detail.
