Black Lake, Image 1

This is a picture John took from the plane on the flight in. See the river coming into Black Lake (compare to topo map scan). The long skinny beach above the mouth of the river is where we camped. The peninsula sticking out from the bottom of the picture (looks like an island here) is where Jim Botti's cabin is located. Much of Black Lake is pretty shallow, though the lake trout fishing was pretty good in the deeper spots.
