Yukon Territory - North/Black/Liard River Canoe Trip,
Fish Markets

A "fish market" is a commercial entity (usually a retail establishment) that sells fish, but not to "real" fishermen. I understand that these fish markets are all heavily subsidized in secret by fishermen to make sure that fewer people actually take up the sport of fishing and thereby reduce competition for the few remaining fish, as well as congestion along the nations waterways (i.e. leave more room for "real" fishermen).

Okay, fishbreath! Back to the business at hand (the North/Black Trip Report), or to Salmonella to recheck some of that original historical fish lore....
