Guidebooks:

The definitive guidebook for the Yukon is Ken Madsen's and Graham Wilson's Rivers of the Yukon, a Paddling Guide. Primrose Publishing, 1989, ISBN 0-88925-924-9. It has been replaced by an expanded and updated issue, of which I don't yet have a copy (but I think that the ISBN number is 0-7748-0492-0). This book does not have the North and Black River system in it, the reason why I'm presenting so much info on the run, but does have many other good suggestions for wilderness river running.
