Wilderness Canoe Tripping
Climbing the Cliff
This picture, by grandpa Keith, is of uncle Paul near the bottom, dad Jerry and Adam near the center, and Hank getting up towards the light. There are some old indian ruins around the corner to the right (out of sight) and Keith thought there might be a hole through to them from behind. We went around and started climbing. Steeper and steeper the higher one gets. Hank got almost up to the light showing through a hole above him, far enough to see that there wasn't any hole through to the dwellings or granaries we wanted to reach. Paul subsequently made it to not far below Hank, but Adam is too short to make some of the climbing moves without a lot of help, so he and Jerry only got a little farther up than pictured here.
